Title: Going Going Gone

Sometimes i wonder when i see your face
we are so different but from the same place
our family is called the monkey race
dear brother, why must you kill today?
who owns the world's biodiversity?

orang-utans, tigers, rhinos and elephants
they are all dying
going going gone forever from the horizon

while i'm still breathing
i can't resist
i'm sending my love
around the world
with a big kiss
My intention is
to open up to you
i give my soul
just to protect a rhino
life comes from life
and not from death
wanted are the murderers
of endangered species

we fight for the last orang-utan
they are our cousins, now refugees in their own land

we fight for the last rhino
their horn has no medicine - what's the point of killing them?

we fight for the last elephant
they are worth more alive than their skeleton

and we fight for the last tiger
they are the kings - what on Earth is it worth, their skins?

orang-utans, tigers, rhinos and elephants
they are all dying
going going gone forever from the horizon

But they must live on!
one world - one soul
anima mundi
from north to south pole
dear brothers and sisters
sign petitions on avaaz
so we can act as
real democracy
in this one world community
for the peace of all
i sign with my blood
coz that's what life is all about
True Earth Stewardship is paramount

we fight for the last orang-utan
they are our cousins, now refugees in their own land

we fight for the last rhino
their horn has no medicine, blood shed just mysterious

we fight for the last elephant
they are worth more alive than their skeleton

and we fight for the last tiger
they are the kings, my heart's on fire
